Their forest, orchids and mainly the diversity of birds are the ideal place for all the visitor who want to feel the relax that nature offers.
Some facts about Mindo - We are about 1200 meters on the sea level. (3937 ft)
- The temperature varies from 14 to 23 C (58 to 74 F)
- Mindo is considered the paradise for birdwathching. Named in 1997 "The First Area in South America in importance for birds” by Bird Life International
- Near the village is the Mindo Nambillo Protected Forest.
- This forest has more than 450 species of birds and 32 species approximately are endemic
- Additionally, exist around 300 species of orchids, and approximately 39 species of hummingbirds
Our hostel didn't lose the opportunity to create rooms and cabins built with materials from the area like stones, wood, bamboo and guadua. All have private bathroom with hot water in their showers.
In 12 years of experience we have assisted many customers that have enjoyed the quality and the comfort of our facilities.
We are surrounded of a great diversity of birds and plants what will make it feel as a true guest of nature.

We have cabins and rooms for 2 up to 6 people all with private bathroom and hot water
Tree houses
We are the only one in Ecuador that can offer this unique attraction Live the experience of staying in our comfortable cabins in the trees. We have 5 cabins all equipped with private bathroom and hot water. All our cabins and rooms can have service of satellite TV in an optional way and with an additional cost.
Recreation
Besides nature and beautiful landscapes, we have three pools, 2 Jacuzzis and steam bath. Visit our river, practice sport fishing in our little lagoon and take a short walks in our natural paths through the forest.
Meals
Our restaurant has best typical food in the area. Delight with more than 30 exquisite plates. Our food is the best in town.
Vegetarian,vegan and other type of food available under request
1 hour and 30 minutes from Quito after taking the Calacali Nanegalito road.
