Cuyabeno Expeditions
In
1979 the Cuyabeno National Park was founded, to protect
this untamed paradise, conserving its wildlife, and
providing a sanctuary in which the traditional inhabitants
of the area, the Secoya and Siona Natives, could lead
their customary way of life. The 85,000 acres include
two rivers that lead into the reserve, Cuyabeno River
and Aguarico River, where most of the highly rewarding
tours take place in canoes.
Our eco-programs will provide you a local indigenous
guide together with bilingual naturalist who will lead
you through this exceptional protected area, always
keeping in mind your safety and comfort.
